Parent Rental Information

After 64 years in business, we use our many years of experience to save you time and money. Whether you are using our proven rental program or want to purchase an instrument, your child’s experience will be a successful one.
Parents have a lot choices of instruments out there and some look terrific, but some play and sound awful. Parts and service can be difficult at best on these "Economy Instruments" making repairs difficult, leaving your child without an instrument for extended periods of time.
Please note that when you rent online, you will see related items that
are recommended by the music educators state wide to start class.
The
most essential is the care kit. This is required for class to play and maintain your band or orchestra instrument.
This purchase will last most of the year with
the exception of reeds for woodwinds and oils for brasswinds. Reeds
wear out and will need to be replaced when they become chipped, warped
or split. Oils will get used up if the instrument is properly
maintained throughout the year (it keeps the valves from sticking).
Milano Music rents only educator approved instruments such as:
BRASSWINDS - Bach, B & S, Carnegie, Conn, Eastman, Getzen, Holton, Jupiter, King, Leblanc, Selmer, Sololist, Antigua Winds and Blessing
WOODWINDS - Armstrong, Buffet, Bundy, Carnegie, Conn, Emerson, Gemeinhardt, Jupiter, Leblanc, Selmer, Vito, Antigua Winds and Blessing
STRINGS - Eastman, Glaesel, Hans Keller, Hofner, Wm. Lewis, Paesold and Scherl & Roth
DRUMS and PERCUSSION - Ludwig, Mapex, Majestic, Pearl, Ross, CB and Vic Firth
Our rental program is simple and very flexible. It allows you to:
• Rent month to month. No long term contract
• Rates are locked in. No increases!
• 100% of your rent applies to purchase of a brand new instrument.
• Additional 30% Discount on Purchase difference
• Insurance is included in rental price. 100% covered. No questions asked!
• Milano’s exclusive Exchange Program keeps your child playing with no
waiting for repairs.
• Return at any time and your obligation is over.
We require that you are a resident of Arizona with a valid Arizona drivers license (or Arizona state issued I.D.), a major credit card (American Express, Discover, Mater Card or Visa), or a debit card displaying the Master Card or Visa logo. You will pay the first month’s rent up front and you’re on you way.
If you don’t have a major credit card or debit card, you can call the store during normal business hours (or come to the store) and we will assist you in another plan. A refundable cash deposit will be required plus the first months rent. Additional I.D. will be required.
